Peculiar Pete
My Peculiar Pete portfolio is actually an extension of my Wandering portfolio (see above). The images are of me, taken when I was out wandering. I’ll occasionally drag someone with me to photograph, but most often I'll do double duty as both photographer and model. When photographing myself, I have the camera secured on a tripod. A device attached to the camera fires it continuously, at a specific time interval.
As the name implies, many of the photos are, I believe, rather peculiar. That was intentional. I wanted looks that were both odd and interesting. In addition, for various reasons, I don't want my face to be clearly identifiable. That’s the reason for hiding or blurring it at times which, I think, helps to create a more unique look.
